Valeria Sierra is a Patient Advocate at Baumann Cosmetic Dermatology. She is originally from Colombia and came to the U.S. to pursue her lifetime passion of becoming an aesthetician. Valeria graduated from the Cinta Aveda Institute in California in 2015. As a CIDESCO Diplomat, she has gained great knowledge on the science behind skincare and product ingredients. Valeria loves sharing her expertise to help patients conquer any skincare challenge they may be experiencing by offering them long-term solutions. Additionally, her Industrial Engineering and Spa Management academic preparation are key components of Valeria’s professional background. These achievements have helped her in understanding key aspects of the medical set and spa business.

Ali, our aesthetician at BCRI was my friend from aesthetician school and referred me.​

What do you enjoy most about working here?
I love educating patients and staff about skincare and all the fun we have as a team during clinic hours.​

Tell us a bit about yourself:
I am from Colombia, married and a mommy of two beautiful girls. I am a passionate aesthetician and spend most of my spare time reading about skincare and planning trips.

Where do you live?
I live in a beautiful, cozy house in Buenavista/Design District Area.

When are you happiest?
I’m on a plane traveling the world with my family.

People would be surprised to know:
Originally I wanted to be an industrial engineer and went to school for 5 years. I then discovered my passion for skincare, at the same time fell in love (with my actual husband) and moved to California to pursue both my aspirations and love.
